Concert Offering
Sanctuary Series is proud to support a worthy ministry through the offering collected at each performance. Thanks to the generous support of an anonymous concert underwriter, we are able to give 100 percent of the money received to this incredible organization. This year's offering will go to the Dare to Care Food Bank. Please take a moment to acquaint yourself with their mission through the following brief description. Your support of this life-changing organization is greatly appreciated.
If you would like to make a donation at this time, you may do so on our website.
Dare to Care
On Thanksgiving Eve in 1969, nine-year-old Bobby Ellis died of malnutrition in his Louisville home. Our stunned Kentuckiana community took action and created Dare to Care Food Bank to ensure that no one in our community lacks enough food to live an active, healthy life. Dare to Care's mission is to work to provide pathways to end hunger in our community. Through innovative programs and partnerships with local food pantries, shelters, and kitchens they're able to achieve this mission. Currently, one in eight adults and one in five children face food insecurity in Kentuckiana - a total of 167,950 people. Through the support of its community partners and individuals, Dare to Care provided 22.2 million meals in the past year across thirteen counties in Kentucky and Indiana. Together, we can support a nourished community where everyone can thrive. Learn more at www.daretocare.org.
